Operating an online business is hard...

There's alway one more page to update, one more email to write, and one last webinar on, 'How to increase conversions.' The to-do list never ends.

And somewhere in there, you're supposed to still have a life!

We've been there. Between the two of us Grapefruities, we've run in-service businesses, rental shops, ecommerce stores, and online service businesses. We know what it's like to be the planner, photographer, writer, designer, and the person who still has to answer the emails and phone.

It's exactly why we built Grapefruit Commerce.

So, if you've ever lain awake at two in the morning with thoughts like,

"I paid someone to build my site three years ago and I'm scared to touch it."

"I've got a great shop in real life, but my website doesn't reflect it."

"I've been DIY'ing my site for two years. I know it could be doing more, I just don't know what's broken."

You don't need a big agency with an even bigger price tag. You need a small team with the zest to make your online presence work as hard as you do.

Whether you're supplementing your local shop, booking rentals, launching your first product online, or looking for your first bookkeeping client, we can help.

Why we love Shopify

We genuinely love Shopify, and we're stoked to tell you why!

It's a low-code platform, which means once we've built your site, you can actually manage it yourself without calling a developer every time you need to change a price or swap out a photo.

Unlike WordPress, it doesn't need constant updates and monitoring to stay healthy. You're not going to wake up one morning to a broken site because you missed a plugin update.

The few extra dollars a month you pay for Shopify hosting buys you a platform that's fast, secure, easy to use and scale, and doing its job while you're busy doing yours.

If your goal is to “just get online,” Wix or Squarespace will do that, but Shopify offers the design flexibility to build something that actually reflects your brand.

The free themes and base plan offer more than most people realize, and if you want to add features down the road, like a custom checkout page, the app store has options for just about everything.

We’ve used it, we love it, and it’s our platform of choice.

That said, if you're already on another platform and don't want to switch things up, we can help. A site audit is a great way to identify issues with your copy or your tech so you know what needs to be fixed and what you need to do to fit it.
